Yes. The authors are in a relationship. A committed, long-term relationship. Put in better words, they are in love.

When did this happen?
This blog was created on January 9, 2007, though it was probably overdue by then.

Why a combined blog?
Both autours love to write; infact, one of the reasons they click is their respective writing styles. Their blogs were instrumental in bringing them together, so they decided to bring their blogs together as well. It gives them a feeling of warmth when they log in. Moreover, a combined blog is much more convenient as it saves the authors from blog-hopping to keep pace with each other in the blogosphere. What’s more, if one of them is on vacation, the other can keep the place up and running.

But what about personal space?
Maybe the authors don’t really mind if their spaces overlap. Sharing is the name of the game, isn’t it? So why not share a blog?

And identity?
Both authors post as different people, under different names. So, there is no loss of identity. Moreover, upon reading a few posts, any reader will notice the difference in the writing styles. Shared space, different identities.

Who’s the boss?
The blog is equally owned by both authors. Both are administrators, and both are free to make any changes to the blog. Neither has an upper hand.

Then why is it ‘Janus and Juturna’ and not the other way round?
Good question. The order of the two names is strictly alphabetical. And if the reader is keen enough to have noticed the order of names the authors use, he/she must also have wondered why both the pages are authored by Janus. This is because Juturna was too busy at the time of creation of this blog, and the onus was on Janus to set up the blog.

Is it a love blog?
Not quite. Though they will write about each other, most of the time they will post about topics outside the relationship. As said earlier, shared space, different identities.

Who can comment?
Just about anyone who feels like commenting can leave behind a few words. The authors will be happy to reply.
